Our Origin Story

Sometimes, the greatest quests start after Game Over.

For us, that meant trading the night-shift grind for a chance to turn our love of gaming into something we could build together and be proud of.

We’re Oliver and Sian, the pixels behind Purple Walrus Retro in Sarasota, FL. PWR is where we share what we love: uncovering hidden treasures, exploring Japanese imports, and breathing life back into forgotten gaming gear.

One of the most exciting parts of this adventure has been connecting with fellow gamers and dreaming up custom creations that sprinkle a little nostalgia over everyday life. Sometimes that means tracking down gems for the vault. Sometimes it’s rescuing a save file or building someone’s dream Game Boy. And sometimes it means spending months reimagining an accessory simply because we thought, “This is something the community would love, and we HAVE to bring it to life!”

The Walrus Wizard ties it all together: a little nostalgia, a little mischief, and plenty of workshop magic. This is the adventure we sacrificed everything for. Thanks for being part of it!

Stay PWR’d Up.
